Cute or what? Source: http://www.incinemas.sg/blog/1640/Download%20Channel%208s%20drama%20118%20LINE%20Stickers.aspx Up and rising actress, Julie Tan, held an advance birthday celebration on the 19th September 2014 for her 22nd birthday. (actual day: 22 September) No, that's not Julie's new boyfriend. Blogger & freelance actor, Xavier Ong (veteran actor Wang Yu Qing's step-son) is the organiser of her birthday event. They are affectionately known as brother-and-sister after starring together in local movie That Girl in Pinafore. Chanced upon a fellow blogger that chanced upon Carole Lin's Wedding News on Bridal Veil FB. Though Carole is no longer a full time actress in Mediacorp, I would still like to share the happiness with my fellow readers. Read the write-up by this blogger. Here's an interview with Carole on how she met her husband and planning the wedding.
I was attracted by her performance in 2013's blockbuster drama, The Journey, as Huang Zhen Niang. "Nya Nya" was my favourite character in the show. Hope she returns to screen in the near future. Photos were taken from Bridal Veil Facebook page. I'm not sure whether I should quote the word "EXCLUSIVE" from Toggle; cause the last I checked, Episode 1&2 are also available on Xin-First. Toggle users can just watch the whole series (13-epi) from Toggle. Here's a review from Xinmsn. P.S. Do you know the ending theme song were sung by Romeo Tan & Sheila Sim?
Here's a list of the airing dates (subjected to changes) for the upcoming dramas:
Wrapped/ Soon-to-wrap Drama(s)Apparently, the March-drama (Life is Beautiful) has concluded their filming as the casts (minus Rui En) and crews attended the wrap-party that was organised last week. Many actors (and actresses) has also wrapped their scenes for Jan-drama, You Can Be An Angel Too, like Rebecca, Bryan, Zheng Ge Ping, Zoe Tay, Xiang Yun and Aloy Pang as seen from their Instagram posts. After 4 months of intense filming, the casts and crews of The Journey 2 has wrapped their scenes in Malaysia. Other than newbie actress, Carrie Wong, who has wrapped her final scenes in Singapore, her Instagram post indicates that the other casts has few more days to go. Not-yet-startedThere are no news regarding the filming of Feb-drama (Good Luck) after the imaging sessions. Filming-in-progress Drama3 Wishes, stated to air after Against the Tide, is currently filming in progress. This is no surprise since Wawa Production usually has 2-3 rounds of filming (filming-short break-filming) as their scripts are produced simultaneously while they are filming. (YAY! to filming in episode-sequence. BUT Note: Not to be confused with 118, where filming and telecast are 2 weeks apart) 3 Wishes is still considered a drama that is produced prior to airing date. It's just that post-production (editing) doesn't take a long time as Wawa is an independent company, thus, starting (and ending) the game late.
Oh, yes. That's Hayley Woo (beside Shane Pow in the 1st photo above), twin of Mediacorp actress Jayley Woo. She'll be portraying Pow's girlfriend in the drama. The Campaign Issue: Are TV dramas the new campaign platform? |
