Its name, which is a literal translation of the Mandarin title, refers to a group of nurses in the healthcare industry (a la your modern day angels), and documents their day-to-day operations and encounters through its characters portrayed by Zoe Tay and Xiang Yun, Elvin Ng, Bryan Wong, Rebecca Lim, Sheila Sim, Xu Bin and Aloysius Pang.
Rebecca Lim will be acting as Guan Xin Ni, an Advanced Practice Nurse specializing in geriatrics. She is an ice princess and is often at loggerheads with Yao Zong. While Guan showers her elderly patients with care, she simply can’t stand Xie Yao Zong (Bryan Wong), a sharp-tongued head nurse, who says awful things about her after mistaking Guan’s father for her ‘sugar daddy’, the very first time they meet. Guan also hates Xie’s stinginess with his money. |
Elvin Ng plays a software engineer turned nurse, Fu Jia Zi (literally translates to: the man who came from a rich family) a helpful and optimistic male nurse. He became a nurse because of an incident where he couldn't do anything to save his best friend when they met with a car accident. It became the turning point for Fu Jia Zi whom decided to go into nursing. |
Sheila and Elvin are paired up in a drama for the second time after I'm In Charge.
Aloysius Pang will be acting as Li Long Hua, an ITE graduate who then becomes a nurse. Not another minor role~ I adore Xu Bin (really), but how can Aloy get supporting roles in contrast to Xu Bin - twice in a row? i.e. Against the Tide. Xu Bin, you are lucky you have a mature leading role face compared to Aloy's baby face. OK nvm, your role in Good Luck seemed like a bigger role. |
